Getting outside is an important part of mental health and physical wellness. While we need to maintain a safe distance from others, we are still able to enjoy nature and escape our houses for a little bit!
There are plenty of activities that you can do by yourself in the parks, so check out a few of these suggestions, and don't forget to wash your hands frequently, take your shoes off outside of your house and avoid going in public spaces if you are exhibiting symptoms!
Here are a few key things to remember when spending time outdoors:
Keep a safe distance from one another - at least 6ft
Avoid touching communal surfaces such as benches, water fountains, railings, etc.
Avoid groups of people - stay solitary and stay safe!
Refrain from touching playground equipment
Avoid activities that share equipment or involve touching
