This facility is an outstanding accomplishment for the community of Elgin. Considering our population and demographic this facility is years ahead of its time and the programs run here are some of our proudest achievements. Feel Stronger and leaner with this fast- paced, instructor led class for all level of athletes every Monday and Wednesday. Exercises vary by class for a whole body workout. You'll pick up the pace during these calorie-burning circuit workouts made up of conditioning, agility and some equipment based movements targeting Butt & Legs, Upper Body & Core- a Full body Burn!

I started out taking Mixxedfit classes January 2019 and had come to love the format and decided to become an Mixxedfit instructor July. I came to love Mixxedfit because it is truly people inspired no matter you age, gender, race, shape, or size. Seniors! Join us at the Elgin Recreation Center Studio for a mental and physical work out at Senior Aerobics! Trainer Jennifer will cover a full body workout with weights, coordination, balance and cardio every Tuesday & Thursday from 10:30-11:30AM.

Prepare for a unique mind/body experience where you will build strength and flexibility through a series of pilates based movements perfectly synchronized to music. Your breath will guide your practice as you venture into a better understanding of the breath/body connection.
