Elgin Recreation Center


This facility is an outstanding accomplishment for the community of Elgin. Considering our population and demographic this facility is years ahead of its time and the programs run here are some of our proudest achievements. We strive to manage these items to the best of our ability and provide a product that the community can take pride in. 

Fleming Community Center


Fleming Community Center is located at 802 N Avenue C, adjacent to Morris Memorial Park and Pool. This facility includes a classroom, studio, grand hall, lounge, meeting room, and catering kitchen. It is available to rent for a fee for private uses such as parties or meetings, for contract uses such as exercise classes, and for community programming by the City of Elgin.

Morris Memorial Pool


Morris Memorial Pool was created in 1994 with a grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife fund as the second of two public pools in Bastrop county.
